FEMALE SOCCER IN LIBERIA

The lack of support and attention to female soccer has made most  girls  discourage. Most girls have the desire to get themselves to the highest peak through soccer but the lack of support and interest by our Liberia Football Association toward the game, has made many female players bringing in lots of children and roaming the streets doing nothing.  

I feel that soccer in Liberia for females should be brought to the attention of the general public, especially companies and business entity. If each company can sponsor a female team in Liberia, we will have better teams in this country and have girls leaving the streets to do better things in life.

I am also a victim of this situation but i want to encourage female players to also focus on their education. If you failed on the side of being out there as a player to seek greener pasture, you can still go into the field of being a sports producer,photogrpher etc once you are educated and have knowledge on soccer.
